Learn to grow your own shiitake mushrooms! Gillian and John will walk you through the steps of inoculating, caring for, and harvesting mushrooms from hardwood logs. We’ll cover many aspects of production, from choosing logs and laying yard location to avoiding pest issues and deciding when to pick. Shiitake are great to eat and fun to grow; come see how it’s done!
